Welcome

True healing comes from within. But sometimes we all need a little help trying to figure out what is really needed. So often our body can tell us if we will just listen and pay attention. Everyone is unique. It's always so amazing to me how some people will respond to one type of therapy yet others not. For me, it's learning to really tune in to what the person needs and to help them get in touch with what they need. Many times I will get an insight or intuition the day or evening before a person comes to see me. There are times when I only use auricular therapy(small beads applied to specific locations on the ears that apply pressure on the points) on people when I feel that is all that is called for. For others it may be a combination of energy techniques like pranic healing or healing touch. And still others it may be called for to use homeopathics, herbs or other remedies. Sometimes it's a combination of things including a meditation or qigong. No one therapy is the answer for everyone. That is what makes human beings so interesting. Feel free to post questions or comments. It's a wonderful way for all of us to learn. As we go along I'll post more information that I hope you will find helpful.

So, for the next few days take a few conscious breaths every so often and just be aware of what your body feels like. Get in touch with the sensations in your body. Is there tension anywhere? Is there a pain somewhere or tingling? Just doing this does two things. First, you get out of your head and feel what it is like to inhabit a human form. How often do we really feel ourselves in our bodies? You can begin to see that maybe your body needs to stretch or move a little. If you believe as I do that energy follows thought, then you are also giving your physical body more energy(qi). Second, your mind will stop some of it's chatter and quiet a bit. That is never a bad thing. In essence, its a mini meditation. Try it for just a few minutes if that is all the time you have. Stop before you get out of your car to go back into the office after lunch or whenever you have a brief moment to give yourself a break from your outer world. I think you'll like it. Sometimes that's all it takes. Just two minutes to reconnect with yourself.
